About My Clients
Specialties: Trauma, Anxiety, Grief, Codependency, Young Adults, LGBTQ, Parenting/Behavior Management. I work mainly with young adults and millennials, however, I have experience with all ages.
My Background and Approach
For 15 years, I provided support and therapeutic services to children and their families in school settings, in shelters, in in-home settings, and through the child welfare system. I transitioned to the private practice setting in January of 2021 and have fallen in love with clinical work with young adult and adult clients. During our first session I will get to know your history, current areas causing distress, some of your thought and behavioral patterns, and a general idea of how you engage in life and your relationships. From there, we will work together to address your current needs by identifying coping skills and working to change thoughts and behaviors. As you find more stability and satisfaction in everyday life, we will dive deeper into your patterns that are no longer serving you and work to gain insight and create long lasting change.
