It is important to find the right approach for treating addiction. Not everyone that walks through the door fits the same criteria or causation for their addiction. I take a mindful approach to explore several areas of the inner YOU to find the best approach. This is an open dialogue to find exactly the best way to heal from substance use.

Dialectical Behavior Therapy can be used in many capacities for many different concerns. I use it in every one of my sessions to help people incorporate self care, emotional regulation, and effective communication skills.

Cognitive Behavioral Therapy is an approach that I also use in every session. I use it to get to the core thoughts and beliefs that may be holding you back from your healing.

I have been working intensively for many years with folks who struggle with substance use disorders. I have found that it is not a one size fits all disease which in turn means that it is not a one size fits all solution. I focus on the person in front of me and we will work collaboratively to help you heal.

I have been working with people for the last 12 years who struggle with anxiety. Most people have experienced anxiety, at varying severities, at least once in their lives and it can be extraordinarily uncomfortable. I help get to the root of the cause and work on the approach and solutions from there.

Life transitions is a has a very broad meaning; this can mean transistors such as identifying sexuality, gender identity, relationship preferences, relationship concerns, mental health symptoms, addiction, career changes, grief and loss, break ups, moving to a new location and many others. This may include short term or sometimes long term therapy. The most important part is to have someone to support you in a healing and non-judgment space.

I offer a specialized and extremely effective type of trauma treatment called Brainspotting.
