My Background and Approach
As a licensed social worker (LSW), I have provided case management and psychotherapy for individuals, couples/families, groups and students in Colorado and parent coaching for families across the country . My passion for working with parents, couples and families stems from my own personal experience as a mom of two, navigating the transformative experiences that come with this stage of life. I have found, both personally and professionally, that parenthood can be the ultimate catalyst for change and growth. In addition to genuineness and humor, I utilize evidence-based modalities such as Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, Somatic Therapy and Internal Family Systems Therapy to help you better navigate your challenges, increase connection in your relationships, grow your psychological flexibility and experience greater overall well-being.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
There's a profound appreciation in my practice, and in my personal life, for the inner harmony that comes from accepting life's ebb and flow. It's easy to get caught in the cycle of seeking external validation, of wanting the world to align perfectly with our desires. Real peace and connection, however, stem from an inner alignment - a deep-rooted sense of well-being that isn't swayed by external circumstances. Together, we'll explore this space of inner tranquility, allowing you to interact with yourself and your loved ones from a place of genuine connection and understanding.
