About My Clients

Do you feel as though you are seen and understood in relationships? Or have you at times felt like you are "too much" or "not enough"? You are not alone. Many of us struggle to feel "normal" in a culture that pathologizes so much about who we are. This can leave us feeling disconnected from ourselves and the world around us. Our therapeutic relationship will offer a warm and accepting space to explore yourself and your needs.

My Background and Approach

As we often experience harm within relationships, I also believe that relationships create the pathways for healing. This begins with the Therapeutic Relationship. It is here where you can explore feelings, ask questions, share experiences, process intense emotions, grieve losses, and celebrate successes. Through mindfulness and somatic attunement, I will support you in strengthening the connections between your heart, body and mind so you can feel more grounded, regulated, connected, and whole. My approach to therapy is collaborative and I will center your lived experience in our work. While I borrow from many perspectives, I will tailor therapy to meet your unique personality and needs. I am queer-affirming, sex-positive, and approach therapy with an anti-diet, fat-positive lens. I often work with people who have histories of traumatic experiences.

My Personal Beliefs and Interests

I want to support you in coming into alignment with your intuitive, authentic self - becoming more fully you! I see us working as a team, discovering and appreciating all parts of you and your healing. Together we can build the skills you may need to better inhabit your body, experience pleasure & joy, and take up space in your life & relationships! I'm committed to supporting the LGBTQIA+ community, including those who are non-binary, gender diverse, and individuals exploring their sexuality and/or identities. I have experience working with folks in non-traditional relationships and take an affirming stance on sex work. I recognize all forms of oppression to be inseparable from experiences of mental health.
