I utilize and have training in attachment theory. While attachment theory is something I return to frequently, I also utilize several other modalities.

Grief and loss can be so complicated! I utilize several different modalities based on the person's lived experience to parse through grief and loss.

I have training in intergeneration trauma. I utilize many modalities when working with intergenerational trauma. Because each person's experience is different, the modalities and treatment will be different.

The foundations of my training are trying to remain curious about how the past may be surfacing in the present. For some people, psychodynamic therapy can be useful in developing a greater understanding of one's self.

I utilize internal family systems frequently. I use this lens when navigating difficult family dynamics, looking at a person's patterns, and using it to make sense of wildly complicated things.

Attachment can be a useful way to understand the nervous system (sometimes), other times may not be relevant. Sometimes this way of holding trauma or a person's experience can offer language and greater insight.
