About My Clients
My clients are hard-working professionals, mothers, and caretakers, who would like to find and embrace their own unique identity, while learning how to confidently navigate the complexities of their personal and professional lives. I am dedicated to empowering women as they face toxic societal messages head on that reinforce how “women should put themselves second & sacrifice their own needs for the sake of others.”
My Background and Approach
As an empathic therapist, I’m wholeheartedly invested in each and every client’s well-being from the moment we meet. I help women identify and integrate unseen strengths into the therapy process in order to effectively tackle life’s barriers, eliminate stress, move forward from grief, and heal from harmful inaccurate messaging around “not being good enough.” My clinical work is rooted in mental wellness & positive psychology, is built from a trauma informed integrative model, is infused with evidenced based practices such CBT, DBT, and Mindfulness, and is sprinkled with holistic approaches. For over a decade, I’ve provided individuals with a safe space, where they feel supported & heard as they bring (ALL) parts of their authentic self to therapy, not just the parts they believe others expect to see. I’ll encourage you to do the same, while providing a holistic, welcoming all-inclusive & culturally responsive therapy experience. Ready to invest in your well-being? Let’s connect!
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
Diagnosis: HUMAN. I believe we ALL come into this world with unique challenges, stressors, traumas, and/or illness. This by no means makes you “crazy,” rather as HUMAN as the rest of us! Your brain is an organ like your kidneys or heart. Supporting your brain through therapy is no different than seeing a doctor for diabetes. Your mental health is medical in nature and equally, if not more deserving of support than the rest of your physical body. Unfortunately, stigma surrounding mental health prevents people from obtaining care they deserve. I want you to know, just by starting this process, you’re already showing tremendous strength, courage & resiliency. Stepping into vulnerability and facing your most difficult traumas & stressors is the exact opposite of weak! Through therapy, you will be the one coming out ahead with the tools and coping skills needed to confidently navigate this world. Never let the barriers or stigma hold you back from obtaining a life of health & happiness.
