About My Clients

Are you struggling with a recent loss or traumatic experience? You might benefit from early intervention with EMDR. You'll safely reprocess overwhelming experiences so that you can cope once again with life's daily stressors without going into a state of panic or shutting down. Once your brain and nervous system have digested what happened, you'll be free to resume living a full and joyful life.

My Background and Approach

I draw from a strengths based, trauma informed framework to help clients move towards greater resilience and wellbeing. Using EMDR and mindfulness-based experiential interventions, I specialize in treating medical PTSD and developmental trauma (including Childhood Emotional Neglect (CEN). EMDR Certified Member of International Society for the Study of Trauma & Dissociation Member of NESTTD Member of SCEH (Society for Clinical & Experimental Hypnosis)

My Personal Beliefs and Interests

I tend to look at the world through a lens of interconnectedness. This means I look at mental health issues contextually. I usually find that the struggles my clients face don't point to something inherently wrong with them. Rather, they reflect systemic problems and historical traumas. The resulting harm inevitably trickles down into the nervous system and impacts one-on-one relationships—between parent and child, employee and boss, a pair of friends, medical provider and patient, or between romantic partners. Therapy is a place to heal some of these wounds.

I offer online counseling in the following states:
