About My Clients

Humans all experience challenges in life and naturally need support to navigate those challenges with hope and safety. These often stem from unaddressed wounds, traumatic experiences, or socially- and culturally constructed expectations or barriers. Many of my clients need help untangling themselves from the pain and difficulty caused by past trauma, current stress, life transitions, and systems of oppression. Together we will validate your experience and make a plan for holistic wellbeing.

My Background and Approach

As a therapist I bring my authentic self to the work I do, connecting with people in their strengths as a means of healing. With over 10 years of experience in helping professions, I've learned the value of trust and connection. You can expect a safe, open atmosphere to heal and grow without judgment. I'd love to help you create a plan for navigating the brave process of strengthening your worth, trusting your personhood and achieving your goals with compassion. I have experience working with people across the lifespan and from many backgrounds. I practice from an integrative approach, using a combination of evidence-based techniques and client-focused connection to help you feel seen and encouraged. This means we will collaborate at your pace to set goals, strengthen your resources, and center time around what is best suited for you. Whether through processing verbally, creating art, gently moving, or using imagination, I offer tools to help people feel understood and empowered.

My Personal Beliefs and Interests

I believe each person is precious, and has a story as unique as they are. I am passionate about anti-racism and decolonization in counseling, in our community, and in society. Dismantling systems of injustice plays a large role in how I approach the therapeutic process. I believe that while support can and does take place in everyday life, professional therapy offers space from someone who has done their own emotional work, has learned effective strategies for growth, and who fully believes in each person's capacity for wholeness and freedom.
