About My Clients
I work with children, adolescents, TAY (16-25), and adults. Majority of my work has been with 10-25 year olds with a wide range of mental health issues. Majority of my client's are LGBT+ and I am a trans-affirming therapist. I enjoy working with individuals with PTSD, trauma, and other anxiety based diagnosis. I specialize in VR therapy and utilize it for different types of anxiety treatment.
My Background and Approach
I have been practicing since 2013, and got into therapy to be the therapist my teenage self needed. I am an eclectic/client centered therapist, meaning that I am the expert on what I know, you are the expert on you, and we work together towards your goals. Client's make goals at the start of therapy as a way to guide them in their quest of therapy. I utilize video games in therapy in my child client's, and for those who are open to it, as a communication, relationship, and skill building activity. I have a specialty in trauma work as well as LGBT+ work.
