My Background and Approach
I am an ANCC Board Certified in Psychiatric Mental Health, a member of the American Nurses Association, the Psychiatric Advanced Practice Nurses of Texas and the American Psychiatric Nurses Association. I earned my Master of Science degree from the University of South Alabama in 2020. I am devoted, compassionate and diligent and take great pride in helping those seeking help for anxiety, depression, bipolar disorder, schizophrenia, obsessive-compulsive disorder, trauma, insomnia, ADHD and substance use disorders. I have more than nine years of nursing experience in the psychiatric field ranging from child, adult and geriatric in both inpatient and outpatient settings. I am known for having the ability to connect with my patients and understand experiences from their perspective. I am m well-versed in psychopharmacology and also like to follow evidence-based guidelines blended with clinical experience and personal observation.

My objective as a Psychiatric Advance Practice Registered Nurse is to increase access to mental health treatment and empower my patients while simultaneously fostering a healing environment where they can achieve their goals and feel their best. I’m known for having the ability to connect with my patients and understand experiences from their perspective. That will help us create the best wellness plan for you going forward.
