What can Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT as we call it in the Bizz) do to help you? In a non clinical jargony way--it offers so many wonderful, practical skills to manage anxiety, depression, and interpersonal conflict. I personally benefit from DBT and have a training in this evidenced based treatment. I have also run a number of groups for all ages and specifically enjoy the Mindfulness aspect of DBT, learning to stay present and check in with oneself is imperative in healing.

A PyschoSpiritual approach is a lovely because it holds many therapy interventions that are integral for healing! You will find hints of Feminist Therapy, Mindfulness Therapy, Trauma Therapy, and Expressive Arts Therapy. It is a sacred space and tool to explore the subconscious and the conscious, and how they work together to honor your intentions and intuitions. Specifically for me I am trained in incorporating Tarot Card pulls, ritualization, and art expression like writing.

Whoa, this has been a big one considering all we have been through, huh? Many of my therapy approaches not only explore anxiety symptoms, but we also work together to fund unique ways and skills to relieve you from anxious symptoms. All of the interventions I am trained in treat this issue with grace, humor, practicality and self expression.

Historical/Intergeneration Trauma is a specialty that is near and dear to my heart! Specifically I am trained in many Trauma focused therapies and utilize a variety of approaches to collaborate with you to recognize triggers, work together to have deep self compassion for your experience, and create intentions and intuitions that support you in healing and being a well ancestor. This is a brave and courageous endeavor and I have dedicated my personal and professional life to the cause.

Chronic Trauma is stored in the body and is experienced in the day to day, more than likely in ways that are inconvenient, out of character, and disrupt your life. I have extensive training with interventions that address and heal survival symptoms of PTSD. As Dr. Janina Fisher says, the goal of trauma treatment is not to conquer the triggers, but rather to become so fluent in yourself that you can say "oh shit, I'm triggered." There is hope and freedom in trauma treatment!
