About My Clients
I have extensive experience in helping clients heal with trauma, anxiety, depression, eating disorders, and substance use disorders/co-occurring disorders. I often work with clients that have exhausted behavioral therapies (CBT/DBT, etc.) and are looking for a more in-depth, psychodynamic therapy.
My Background and Approach
I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker who specializes in complex trauma, PTSD, eating disorders, and addiction. My personal and professional journeys allow me to work alongside patients to build a trusting and authentic partnership in the therapeutic space. I currently work with adults, working to build a secure therapeutic relationship with my patients, with whom traditional behavioral therapies have not been successful. I have experience working alongside patients in inpatient/medical detox programs as well as PHP/IOP treatment programs treating eating disorders, substance use disorders and co-occurring disorders. I practice from a Health At Every Size (HAES) approach.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
Therapy is an enriching and rewarding process. I create individualized treatment for all patients I work with and invite you to reach out when you are ready. I practice through a relational psychodynamic lens and hope to build a healing therapeutic relationship to assist you on your journey to self exploration. I value candid and authentic communication with my clients. I am currently a PhD student at The Institute for Clinical Social Work studying psychodynamic psychotherapy.
