About My Clients
Insight-based psychotherapy for adults focused on cultivating psychological wellness. Areas of focus include: anxiety, depression, trauma, navigating complex family and relationship issues, ending self-defeating behaviors, and healing from abuse, including narcissistic abuse, childhood bullying, toxic and psychologically disorienting relationships, communities, and systems of control. I specialize in helping individuals navigate and heal from narcissistic abuse.
My Background and Approach
As a Washington State Licensed Mental Health Counselor (#LH60449486), I hold a M.A. in Clinical Psychology from Antioch University (2010) and a B.A. in Psychology from New College of California (2006). Both my education and post-graduate training has revolved around psychoanalytic, psychodynamic, and family-systems oriented therapy, including additional focus on personality disorders, narcissistic abuse, intergenerational trauma, and unconscious process. Following graduate school, I trained with the Institute for Psychoanalytic Training and Research in New York City, along with extensive experience working in group counseling practices and treatment centers focused on family dynamics. Currently I am an active member with the Northwest Alliance for Psychoanalytic Study and Washington State Mental Health Counselor’s Association where I participate in continued training and consultation.
