About My Clients
My typical clients are those that are going through grief/loss and life transitions. Through the process of therapy, I collaborate to parse through the hard circumstances and challenging questions life throws at us, and aid in you finding deep profound meaning, healing, and growth in a safe and confidential space.
My Background and Approach
My approach is always from a place of curiosity, never judgment. I ask questions to better understand and make sure I truly know your perspective. I meet you exactly where you are at, walking alongside you. I work with you in feeling safe as you explore the challenges and/or uncomfortable feelings and experiences that are difficult to parse through. I'll gently nudge at the places that may need further exploration, but never force you to go somewhere you feel you are not ready. However, I will also be direct, interactive, and dynamic in sessions as I'm not just sitting back, but in this with you. We'll laugh, cry, yell, smile, feel, and heal through it. I'm committed to provide psychological support as you uncover insight into your past experiences, traumas, and hardships as well as current ones.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
I believe in providing culturally sensitive, empathically driven care. I am a strong ally and affirm all LGBTQIA2+ identities. I am committed to anti-racist beliefs and practices. I am firm believer of destigmatizing mental health in LatinX(o,a,e) communities and ensuring that these communities receive resources and support.
