Every couple is unique. I tend to pull from different modalities depending on what you are needing. I use attachment theory to help provide insight on each of your attachments and how they inform your current relationship, and give you tools to create change for you both. I use a blend of the Gottman method and Emotionally Focused therapy.

I utilize this approach to help you connect with your body and release any trauma that is “trapped” in the body. We will slow down the process of talk therapy to connect with the body and listen to what it’s telling us.

From research, we know that trauma and stress are stored in our bodies. No amount of traditional talk therapy will alleviate symptoms of trauma, stress, and anxiety. I specialize in working with individuals going through a divorce, children of a divorce, and co parenting issues. I have extensive experience working with families and couples in all situations. Divorce affects everyone. I work with adults who are going through a divorce on the life altering stress it can cause, couples who are trying to navigate divorce, and co-parenting issues.

Do you ever notice you have a emotional “charge'‘ with certain memories? Or maybe you feel numb or have blocked out certain ones. Our brains have a natural way of processing and healing memories, but in some cases, it doesn’t passion is to create a warm, welcoming, comfortable space to explore and heal. I am EMDR trained and use this among other modalities to hold space for you to let go of the shame, burden, and heaviness that it can cause. All I need from you is a little bit of hope.

Anxiety can show up in all kinds of ways. From panic attacks to generalized anxiety disorder, to major life transitions or adjustments, I am passionate about walking with you and showing you anxiety doesn't have to rule your life. I utilize Cognitive Behavioral therapy, Somatic therapy, and others to offer insight and give you actual tools you can use in your every day life, to feel like your best self again.

As humans, we are always seeking deep, safe bonds with others. Many times, we experience 'attachment' injuries through break ups, death, divorce, and more. I love exploring people's attachment history, and how it informs how we relate, trust, and bond to others. I walk with you as you learn more about yourself, heal past injuries, and work towards a secure attachment with others.

We all have parts of our self. In therapy, we work together to develop techniques and strategies to effectively address issues within a person’s internal community or family. This evidence-based approach assumes each individual possesses a variety of sub-personalities, or “parts,” and attempts to get to know each of these parts better to achieve healing.
