About My Clients
Are you always feeling overwhelmed and like everyone around you is judging you and thinking the worst of you? You want that latest project or assignment to be perfect, so you can't just turn it in how it is now. I help young adults and students learn to be free of their own negative expectations. The worries, fears, and anxiety you experience does not have to be the only way to live. I help my clients, without judgment, overcome these barriers and find freedom from their own anxious thoughts.
My Background and Approach
I help young adults and teens who are perfectionists and overachievers, whether you're still in school or early in your career. I use a nonjudgmental approach, putting you first, to help you make sense of the changes happening in your life and build the strength to overcome your anxious thoughts. We will discuss what is happening in your brain when your anxious and how to train your brain to calm down and think clearly. Our conversations will help you to learn new ways to approach problems and challenge you to overcome them. I will offer tools and skills that can help and we'll approach these as an experiment, we will work together to find what works for you. There is no one-size-fits-all approach. I have experience working with adults and teenagers struggling to find their way through life. I make space for humor in my sessions, because sometimes we need to back up and get out of the thick of it.
