My therapy approach is existential therapy with focuses on strength, connection, mindfulness and choices. I believe that humans exist with conditions such as anxiety and therapy is a liberating and empowering process to know yourself, be yourself and find meaning. One of my goals as a therapist is to tailor therapy to your needs. Since I believe that therapy is an individualized experience, I also borrow tools and concepts from other therapy approaches, such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy.
What therapy looks like with me is we would first get to know each other and co-create an environment where you feel safe and comfortable to share and explore. We will talk about your needs, goals, and how you want to be supported and helped. Then, we will utilize creative tools, such as art, experiments, mindfulness exercises, and games to explore your self-expression and make your own coping tool kit.
