About My Clients

Are you feeling disconnected, lost, or stuck? Working so hard, but it never feels like enough? Feeling misunderstood or not enough? If so, you're not alone. So many of us don't feel that we fit. While our reasons may differ, our worth and needs for connection and belonging are universal. I offer a space where you can bring your unique and whole self into the room. Not as problems to be fixed, but as strengths to celebrate and integrate into your personalized healing path.

My Background and Approach

I take an integrative and holistic approach, paying close attention to your past, present, and future; your mind, body, and soul; your areas of strength and resilience, as well as your pain and challenges. There is no one way of doing therapy. Together we’ll find what works for you. My primary goal is to offer a safe-enough space for you to reflect on and reclaim your story and move toward meaningful connection with your true self, others, and the world. We tend to feel most able to make changes and take meaningful risks when we feel seen and accompanied through the intensity of our lives. My integrative approach is informed by a few core theories, including attachment, relational psychodynamic, internal family systems (ifs), somatic (body-based), and experiential theories. My training in DEEP (Dynamic Enriched Experiential Psychotherapy), which is based on AEDP, helps me integrate these theories in a skilled and authentic way. Learn more through my website.

My Personal Beliefs and Interests

I am just as inspired by the art I encounter in nature, music, poetry, photography, and so much more as I am by insights in counseling research and healing modalities. I believe we each carry inner creativity and playfulness that are necessary to express for our healing, growth, and pleasure. I am a justice-oriented therapist who is culturally-affirming and responsive to the ways that majority culture both positively and negatively impacts your experience. My aim is to decrease feelings of inner shame and blame while empowering you to live into your innate strengths and resiliencies. My identity as a mixed-race, therapist of color informs my empathy for and support of those from diverse, intersectional backgrounds. I am committed to my own personal and professional growth through supervision, reading, workshops, and connection with other inspiring therapists and healers. I deeply believe we heal, learn, and thrive in connection with others.
