About My Clients
I have over 2 decades of experience with pre-teens and adolescents. I offer space for them to be heard, develop emotionally, and define themselves and their values. As a cancer survivor, I have a heart for working with those navigating through a cancer-related journey. I understand all too well that once treatment is over, that is not the end of the journey. Navigating a current diagnosis or post-illness life can be hard, and I want to be a resource for those in that life space.
My Background and Approach
Together we will develop a trusting relationship where we can then identify what you would like most---change, healing, to be heard, or anything else that brings you to therapy. I believe each of us has unique life experience and strengths that can be used as building blocks to the change you desire. I use different approaches based on client need---CBT, Solution Focused Therapy, Person Centered, Play Therapy.
