About My Clients
I currently work with individuals, couples, and families ages 13 and up. My Background and Approach
My demeanor tends to be warm, gentle and connecting. My approach is honest, respectful and without judgment of you and the issues that are bringing you to therapy. I look forward to walking alongside you on your journey of self-care and improvement. I am a CBT & EMDR therapist who has a strong interest in Attachment, Somatic, Neuropsychology, Humanistic, Dialectical Behavioral therapies (DBT), and more. My clients learn how to cope with distressful situations, regulate difficult emotions, heal relationship issues, improve communication skills, and set healthy boundaries with people in their lives.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
I believe that everyone can change and grow at any time in their lives. I don't believe that there is a limit to human capacity. I think the main reason we develop mental health issues is because they are unhealthy learned behaviors that we have picked up along the way. Which means that I think you can unlearn the faulty behaviors and replace them with healthy ones. I don't discriminate against anyone.
