In our work together your gender identity and sexual orientation will never be “problems” to be “fixed” but rather unique characteristics that may influence the way in which we identify and explore the things that bring you to counseling. You are a good person worthy of living a full and vibrant life. My clients appreciate the active role I take in counseling. I'm willing to jump in the trenches and try to problem solve with you. I'm not afraid to give my clients hard feedback to help them figure out why they're feeling stuck or unhappy and how they can change it. Maybe you're trying to achieve greater work/life satisfaction, navigate the complexities of dating and relationships as a queer person or struggling to love and accept yourself because you're experiencing rejection by your family or friends after coming out or disclosing your HIV+ status.
