About My Clients
There is something heavy holding you back in your life, and it's manifesting in ways you can't control anymore. Isolation, constant worries, low energy, and feeling distant are all clues that tell us something isn't right. Often times, unresolved trauma can seep into every aspect of life and take root before you can even realize it. I will provide a safe place for you to heal and become more than your problems.
My Background and Approach
I utilize a person-centered and trauma informed approach, meeting the individual where they are and being mindful of how past traumas may play a role in present issues. In my experience, learning and understanding past experiences can often provide monumental insight into current issues, allowing us to better navigate our world in the future. I also heavily rely on Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) techniques, so we may work collaboratively to identify and challenge negative thinking patterns, while developing objective, reality-based thoughts. By tuning into our thoughts, we can learn to catch ourselves before an emotion takes over.
