I see therapy as collaborative. I work with my clients in identifying the root of the anxiety and how it influences his/her/their life. I collaborate with my clients when formulating their treatment plan. We will work together to identify the root of the problem, the coping techniques that make sense, and the changes that need to be made. I utilize cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT) and my 200hour Yoga Teacher Certification when treating anxiety.
Change is inevitable and we are all constantly facing transitions in life. I assist my clients by addressing all the unexpected symptoms that can arise when facing change such as anxiety, mood disruption, sleep/appetite disturbances, changes in motivation, and fluctuations in productivity. I have experience working with the following transitions: academic, vocational/career, romantic, familial, parenthood, and medical.
