About My Clients
Clients who vibe with me are typically 11-16 year old girls, young adult women and mothers who are adjusting to all facets of "adulting," juggling multiple roles in their lives, experiencing life transitons, and seeking healthy emotional regulation tools for anxiety and/or symptoms of ADHD.
My Background and Approach
My counseling style is solution focused, goal-oriented yet interactive. Using various integrated strategies allow me to use what I enjoy (art, crafts, games, and other unconventional methods) to build a multi-sensory/multidimensional experience in therapy. I use psychoeducation with cognitive behavior and acceptance and commitment modalities to help clients understand the evidence-based practices behind the strategies chosen. I consider myself a therapeutic ally who is there for support, exploration and guidance; therefore, I’m flexible to the individual. I know first hand what teens experience in school and how to navigate the challenges that face them everyday. My specialist designations are ADHD, anxiety, and stress managment.
