Anxiety can truly make someone feel as thought they've lost who they once were. I want to help you understand your anxiety, understand your triggers, and develop skills to cope with the symptoms. I utilize a CBT approach initially to alleviate the symptoms, then we work together to explore your history to that helps us better understand where the anxiety initially developed.
I am a level 1 Gottman trained therapist. I enjoy assisting couples in creating the foundation needed for a long-lasting, enjoyable relationship and/or marriage.
I work with all trauma and am currently a certified Trauma Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapist and Certified Individual Cognitive Behavioral Therapist. I also work with ages 0-5 on trauma experienced, which includes DV, sexual abuse, physical abuse, exposure to substances.

I utilize attachment theory to help us understand our positive and negative interpretations of life experiences. "Attachment is a deep and enduring emotional bond that connects one person to another across time and space (Ainsworth, 1973; Bowlby, 1969)." We will look at your childhood attachments and how the influence your life, your child's life, your partner's life now.
