My Background and Approach
I integrate the Science of Attachment, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), and the practice of healing trauma within an E.M.D.R. framework (Eye Movement Desensitization Reprocessing). EMDR is a gentle, highly effective psychotherapy that enables people to heal from the symptoms and emotional distress that are the result of disturbing life experiences. In addition to private practice clients, I am also a dedicated trauma therapist at an intensive residential treatment program. My clients cite my authenticity, warmth, empathy, and sense of humor as stand-out traits.
