About My Clients
I seek to meet you where you are and provide a safe, welcoming environment as you begin your journey to being your best self. I utilize Cognitive Behavioral, Mindfulness, Person-Centered, and Dialectical Behavioral approaches to support you on your path. We will work through this together and I will support you each step of the way.
My Background and Approach
I obtained my Master’s Degree in Counseling Psychology from Western Michigan University in 2011 and am a Certified Drug and Alcohol Counselor with 11 years of experience providing individual and group therapy with both adults and adolescents. I have a history of providing intensive case management services, clinical supervision, substance use treatment, and also participated on a comprehensive Dialectical Behavioral Therapy treatment team. Currently I’m working toward obtaining my certification in Perinatal Mental Health. I seek to meet you where you are and provide a safe, welcoming environment as you begin your journey to being your best self. I utilize Cognitive Behavioral, Mindfulness, Person-Centered, and Dialectical Behavioral approaches to support you on your path to becoming your best self. Prioritizing yourself can be overwhelming and I look forward to providing you with a warm, nurturing environment to take those first steps.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
In my free time I enjoy spending time with family, running, lifting weights, listening to music, and reading. I love dogs and enjoy spoiling my two labs, Rory and Chase.
