Do you have a general sense of unease in your body and you can't quite figure out what's wrong? It feels like no one is listening. I see you. I hear you. Pull up a chair and let's talk! Through our work together, you can start to feel better. I can help you learn new skills to feel more relaxed and comfortable in your body. I can show you how to survive strong emotions without doing something dangerous or damaging your relationships. I can even teach you how to get through a panic attack and how to stop those pesky racing thoughts! I work with teenagers who are struggling with anxiety, intense emotions, and figuring out how to grow up in a world that doesn't always pay attention. My Personal Beliefs and Interests
Having childhood experiences that foster healthy development and secure attachments are so important for lifelong well-being. I believe that most people want to do well, but they don't always have the tools needed for success. While some challenges come from individual differences in the brain, many others are due to systemic and societal oppression. Either way, it's never too late to begin the healing process. I participate in actions that support the LGBTQ community and Black Lives Matter movement, and I am always working on being actively anti-racist.
