About My Clients

Do you feel like there is something in your life holding you back from living your full potential? Whether you feel crippled by depression because you lost a loved one, experience anxiety in social settings that prevents you from meaningful engagement with others, or are facing challenges in your relationships with family or an intimate partner, I’m here to help you navigate and overcome these hurdles. I offer an integrative approach that will be tailored to your specific needs.

My Background and Approach

I provide my clients with tools that can be applied day-to-day so that you can become the best version of yourself. My goal is to promote the holistic wellbeing of individuals from all walks of life. My therapeutic approach combines strengths-based, person-centered therapy, cognitive behavioral therapy, psychoanalysis, and mindfulness techniques. I have experience working with children, adolescents, teens, and adults experiencing depression, anxiety, body-image issues, eating disorders, life transitions, childhood trauma, intergenerational trauma, and family of origin issues. Together we will work collaboratively to identify the challenges that keep you from moving forward, heal past traumas, navigate current life stressors, discover untapped potential, and strengthen positive coping skills that will help you find balance within your life.

My Personal Beliefs and Interests

I think one of the most beautiful aspects about life is the human capacity to heal and grow from life’s challenges. I believe that all of us have strengths and maladaptive behaviors that we carry from our past experiences. What served you in the past, may no longer serve you now. I grew up in a dysfunctional family where I learned unhealthy behaviors. Through my own therapy, I learned how to set healthy boundaries in my interpersonal relationships and identify the negative thought patterns that no longer served me. I've overcome my personal challenges and discovered a life of meaning and purpose, and I want you to experience the same. I am an ally of all walks of life and participate in community events that support social and economic justice. To explore whether we are a good fit, please feel free to schedule a free 10-minute phone consultation with me. I would be honored to support you in your therapeutic journey.
