My Background and Approach
I'm a somatic therapist, which means that my clients don't just talk about stuff - I help them feel it. While we spend so much of our lives trying to get away from our difficult feelings, therapy with me is about facing those emotions, seeing what's inside you, and allowing you to have all of your experience without pushing parts away. When my clients connect with their emotions, they also uncover their inner wisdom. They learn how to listen to themselves above everyone else. Clients leave feeling more grounded in themselves, more confident in what they want out of life, and ready to face any challenge that arises. I'm a tell-it-like-it-is kind of therapist, and I will offer my reflections in a kind and compassionate way. In our sessions, I will both cheer lead and challenge you, encouraging you to step up to what I see is possible.

I believe that you're fricken awesome! You may not know it yet - your awesomeness might be buried by a thousand less-than-awesome qualities - but I'll help you see it. I'll help you remove the layers that are covering up your awesomeness - the self-hatred, the judgment, the critical voices, etc. - so that you can let your light shine bright.
