About My Clients
Is anxiety getting in the way of living your best life? Has the pandemic intensified your symptoms? Whether or not your anxiety stems from past trauma, I can work with you towards a happier, less stressful and more fulfilling life. Accepting clients for both in-person meetings and telehealth video sessions.
My Background and Approach
I quickly build a working rapport with my clients to address difficult issues such as trauma, depression, anxiety, panic attacks, everyday stressors and relationship issues. I am a certified trauma specialist and a certified adolescent trauma specialist. I have experience in both short-term, solution-focused therapy and longer-term therapy to best assist clients with their individual needs. Additionally, I frequently utilize cognitive behavioral strategies. I often give my clients individualized, practical suggestions to alleviate their symptoms during the very first session.I have over 10 years of clinical experience and I am passionate about my chosen career. I have had the pleasure of working with people of every age and background and derive great pleasure from seeing my clients transition from feelings of despair to feelings of hope and strength.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
I believe that a human being's capacity to change and grow is astounding and inspiring. Re-exploring childhood events from your older and wiser perspective and trading negative coping strategies with positive ones, helps people to do this. I value diversity and enjoy working with individuals from all different backgrounds. I enjoy art and sometimes incorporate it into my work. In my free time I also like to go walking and watch Netflix. Nothing too exciting but works for me! I look forward to working with you.
