About My Clients
Who knew it would be so difficult to make it on your own, develop new relationships, and face the stresses of your late teens, 20s or 30s? Addressing struggles as you become an adult can present you with immediate and urgent challenges related to family, relationships, money, work, school, and confusion with your overall life path. Shifting responsibilities and demands at school or work can certainly cause confusion, self-doubt, and feeling overwhelmed.
My Background and Approach
Dr. Neale’s training and professional experiences have, and continue to be, grounded in oppression theory and multicultural practice. Dr. Neale works with young people (age 16+), adults and older adults, and is inclusive of people of all races, genders, ethnicities, sexual orientations, abilities, socioeconomic-class backgrounds, and spiritual identities. As a White ally, Dr. Neale understands the unique challenges facing People of Color in predominantly White communities. As an LGBTQIA ally, Dr. Neale cultivates an affirming space that respects your fluid or fixed identity. Dr. Neale, and Grandview Therapy and Consulting as a whole, are committed to providing self-reflective and engaged treatment to individuals whose presenting symptoms, relational patterns and engagement are directly tied to cultural and systemic factors.
