About My Clients
We can support you as you combat anxiety and depression, explore your identity, wade through life transitions, or learn to have healthier relationships. We can help you discover the strengths that nourish your inner resilience - because we do believe experiences of trauma, oppression, and neglect shape you, but we also believe you have an incredible ability to heal.
My Background and Approach
We adopted the blossoming cherry tree as a symbol of our work - it reminds us of the ways that being open to change builds resilience. We are trauma-informed, person-centered, cognitive behavior therapists, which means we help individuals and couples learn how thoughts, feelings, and choices are connected. Thoughts affect emotions and can lead us to choices like drinking, overeating, isolating, fighting, resenting, disconnecting. We can help you figure out how to come out of these patterns. We can teach you how to repair relationships and feel renewed.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
Our team is diverse - we have counselors who identify as BIPOC, are members of the LGBTQ community, and participate in different faith backgrounds.
