About My Clients
The clients I work with are individuals who come from varying cultural backgrounds, with unique life experiences and personal stories. They are determined and dedicated to exploring themselves openly and authentically while seeking to engage in a collaborative, therapeutic journey towards deeper self-awareness, greater self-confidence, and personal healing.
My Background and Approach
My career journey has allowed me to compile over 20 years of experience working with diverse individuals and communities across the lifespan throughout the social services, behavioral health, and healthcare fields spanning the east and west coasts. These experiences allowed me to gain invaluable skills, perspectives, and training which prepared me to become a therapist. I deeply enjoy collaborating with clients and helping them live lives with with more awareness, intention, and meaning. It’s an honor to witness healing and liberation occur within clients during our therapeutic journey together.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
I believe that each human experience is unique and that individuals who are struggling with emotional health are able to be guided to living their own truth and facilitate healing by finding positive solutions to current issues in their life. My approach to therapy is existential and eclectic depending on your unique needs, struggles, and barriers. I will allow you to govern the path that your therapy will take and support you in meeting the goals you wish to achieve. I will serve as a facilitator who journeys with you throughout the therapy process. I believe individuals are motivated to discover solutions to their own uncertainties, struggles, and lack of meaning they are presently experiencing. Together we will discover new ways of being that best serves you and your needs. I aim to make counseling available to as many people as possible and have limited availability for individuals who are on tighter budgets.
