As a practitioner of this model for over 5 years, I have witnessed so many couples gain just what they need to improve and or create the partnership they've desired to have.
Having utilized DBT for nearly 10 years I've really come to find this model to be effective for so many. Given our early life experience with our family, school, community and world at large- many of us aren't provided the proper support/validation/safety/coping tools we need to successfully manage challenging emotions, interpersonal or romantic relationships, and so much more. From my experience DBT is an excellent model to help develop the skills necessary to navigate through life effectively
