Adulthood (or should I say, #Adulting) can be very challenging. Though it has many perks, it is not uncommon to feel like you've been caught in a rut. Those of Generation X and Millennial generation are currently living in young and middle adulthood. Life transitions occur often and may disrupt your sense of routine, calm, and balance. If you are finding yourself frustrated, anxious, depressed, or fearful due to a planned or unplanned life transition, let's work together to help you overcome it.

Understanding this on a personal level, I know the difficulty of discovering sexual identity and learning how to embrace it in a world that so often oppresses sexual identity. No matter your struggle, you're welcome here. Having difficulty with sexual identity is multi-faceted. Using personal experience, knowledge, an intersectional and multicultural understanding, let's work together to help you become who you deserve to be.

I believe that counseling and therapy should be individualized to meet your needs. Your experience is uniquely yours - and that is what makes it special. If we have the opportunity to work together, I may pull from various approaches to help you become the person you deserve to be. Though I will find it helpful to use varying modalities in your therapy experience, there will always be a foundation of person-centered, multicultural, and intersectional theories.

Being naturally empathic and highly sensitive, I lean on intuition and a deep compassion for the human experience to guide my work. Having knowledge and understanding of intersectionality, I find it is important for counselors to be agents of social justice, to consistently be aware of cultural and identity privileges, and to not only be empathetic but also believe the life experiences of those who seek affirmation, validation, counseling, and guidance.
