About My Clients

Are you having a difficult time meeting the demands of every day life? Do things feel overwhelming in a way that they've never felt before? Are you starting to feel burnt out and in desperate need of a break? If it's crossed your mind that the way things are going now just doesn't seem/feel sustainable, please let me provide you with the help and support that you deserve. Together we can find ways to replenish you and find the balance that you need in your life in order to thrive.

My Background and Approach

As a therapist, my goal is to create a safe space to facilitate your healing and self discovery. Therefore, my style of therapy is person centered, trauma informed and strength’s based. Let's build awareness around what's impacting you and how. I want to collaborate with you on finding a balance in life that allows you to heal and experience hope and joy. The negative thoughts and emotions we struggle with can get stored in our nervous system as uncomfortable physical symptoms in our body, impacting your wellbeing. I can help you build a strong mind & body connection through somatic experiencing along with CBT and narrative therapy so you can again experience safety, peace and comfort in your body and mind.

My Personal Beliefs and Interests

I believe all of us inherently possess the tools we need to succeed in life. I think my job as a therapist is merely to help my clients remove the obstacles in their way; the ones that often prevent us from reaching our full potential, from being our most genuine selves. These obstacles appear as negative believes we have about ourselves, or even behaviors that at some point served a purpose but are now getting in our way. These are maladaptive coping skills we've picked up along the way, even if they now bring us guilt and shame when we engage in them. As a neurodivergent person with a late diagnosis, I have done my own therapy work to learn emotional regulation and experience a sense of control and consistency over my actions and emotions. And I want to help you do the same! I identify as a cis queer Latinx woman. I think time in nature is the best form of self care/coping, so I go camping and hiking often. I'm believe in gender affirming care, racial equality and social justice.

I offer online counseling in the following states:
