About My Clients
If you have been trying to cope with certain issues or problems on your own, but have been unsuccessful, or don’t exactly know how to make changes—therapy may be the support you are looking for. Whether you're struggling to work through trauma, trying to navigate a transitional stage of life (like college, graduate school, or a new job), living with anxiety or depression, exploring sexuality/gender identity, or just trying to break out of some unhelpful patterns, I'd love to work with you!
My Background and Approach
I am a Licensed Independent Clinical Social Worker (LICSW) with a Master of Social Work in Clinical Mental Health from the University of Minnesota - Twin Cities. I have been practicing therapy in some capacity since 2016, including particular experience in DV/SV, trauma-focused therapy work (particularly complex trauma/CPTSD), working with underserved youth, working with LGTBQ+ clients, and working with college students. I utilize a trauma-informed client-centered approach with roots in interpersonal, narrative, cognitive, and attachment theories, and my practice is rooted in a social justice, anti-oppression framework. I believe people are the experts in their own lives, and I work collaboratively with individuals through a strengths-based lens to foster hope, health, and healing.
