About My Clients
My ideal clients are curious, introspective, and motivated, but for whatever reason struggling in different areas of their lives. These clients may be adults dealing with self-esteem issues, past trauma, identity exploration, strained relationships, and life transitions including work, school, relationships, and/or loss. I will take the time to make you feel comfortable when talking about these difficult topics at your own pace while still challenging you.
My Background and Approach
My approach is laid-back and friendly, however, I like to be as transparent and straightforward with my clients as possible to ensure that trust. Incorporating humor in our sessions is important to me so we can build comfort within our therapeutic relationship. I am on your side and I am here to not only support you but challenge you to reach the goals you want in life. Since I am a relational and family therapist, I am specifically trained to work with more than one person in the therapy room. I can make a safe space for each party to share their thoughts and feelings in a productive way. I am there to coach you on ways to effectively communicate.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
Self-love is a big passion of mine. Social media is super helpful with connecting to others, however, can be harmful to our self-esteem. Many people of all ages struggle with how we feel about ourselves. I believe in putting self-love at the forefront of our day to ensure confidence within our physical bodies and our internal intellect. Accepting ourselves where we are is the most difficult part and I will be there every step of the way to regain any love of self that has been lost. Another specialty of mine is supporting LGBTQ+ adults and teens. Whether this means through their coming out or transition process, overcoming obstacles that the community faces, or just navigating life's challenges with someone who understands and can best support their needs, I can be that support for you.
