About My Clients

My clients are often millenials & Gen Z-ers who want to live a better life. Maybe your dating life sucks. Maybe you struggle in relationships because of explosive emotions or constant misunderstandings. Maybe you're wondering how to speak up and get what you want. Many of my clients are working to solidify who they are. Learning how to regulate emotions, clarify your values, and set boundaries are crucial to finding confidence in who you are. My clients tend to be neurodivergent and/or queer!

My Background and Approach

I have been in my own therapy for many years, and still am. I know exactly what it's like to be in the client seat and what it feels like when you don't trust or click with your therapist. I am pretty irreverent- cussing, laughing, sarcasm, calling you out- that's me! I'm not an asshole, but I love keeping my clients accountable and want them to leave sessions feeling hopeful and cared for. I got you! My clients will learn real skills they can apply out in the real world- and I'll often give you homework to do just that. I believe the most change in therapy happens in between sessions. I use many different therapy techniques to help clients, including CBT, ACT, mindfulness, somatic interventions, self-compassion, and behavioral homework. If you'd like to know more about these, check out my website.

My Personal Beliefs and Interests

I am an ally to pretty much any traditionally "marginalized" community you can think of (hate that word but you know what I mean). I am a non-religious therapist, though I am a former Christian and understand the trauma of questioning religion or choosing to leave it. Neurodivergent and queer folks from all over the spectrums are welcome and loved in my practice, and bodies of all shapes, sizes, and colors are respected and revered. I work regularly to educate myself and recognize my privilege as a white cisgender woman. I am always happen to discuss anything related to privilege, race, and society's systemic failings (in fact, it will probably come up regularly in sessions).

I offer online counseling in the following states:
