About My Clients

I am a sex-positive therapist and provide relationship therapy for couples and intimate partners of all configurations and relationship structures. I am here to support you and your partner(s) to access more intimacy, feel increased relationship satisfaction, have a more connected sex life, and find resiliency to better navigate life’s inevitable challenges together. Together let’s help you heal from the past, integrate the present, and create hope for the future!

My Background and Approach

My previous experience working with elementary through high school-aged youth has taught me how to best support my clients to access more feelings of empowerment and build essential tools for resiliency to help navigate the expected (i.e. developmental changes, identity issues) and unexpected (i.e. loss, life transitions, trauma, and more) changes of life with less distress. Additionally, my previous experience working with couples and partnerships has prepared me to support you to have more intimacy and connectedness in your partnership as we navigate the highs, lows, and in-betweens of being in a relationship together. We are not meant to do it alone—let’s help you to become your most resilient, empowered, connected self!

My Personal Beliefs and Interests

I am continually in awe of human resiliency and our want to connect, against all odds. I believe there are systems at play that do not allow humans to be their best selves. Often times, mental health issues rise up when we are in spaces that are too small for all of our potential and capacity. In my experience, therapy has helped to release the narratives of shame and guilt that were not helpful for my growth and reaching my potential. Inclusion and social justice advocacy is vital to my work. I believe that BIPOC lives matter, that we should all be feminists, that LGBTQIA+ folx are our guides, and that our world will not be complete until the disabled community is fully represented. When not working, I love being a host of parties, watching movies with my husband, and baking treats to fulfill my sweet tooth.
