About My Clients
We collaborate in sessions. We process in a way that speaks to you, at a pace that works for you. Are you experiencing loss? Do you want to explore what's holding you back? Are you prioritizing your next moves? Let's talk about it. As a clinician, I believe grief journeys are complex and dynamic. I understand that pain shows up differently in different people. I relate to experiencing stress in the body and mind. YOU are the expert on your life. Let's tap into your inner expert during session.
My Background and Approach
I have been practicing for 4 years. I am a neurodivergent clinician with experience in public defense, school-based work, and teletherapy. Through my professional experience, I am familiar with the intersection of systems in someone's life: education, criminal justice, mental healthcare, capitalism, housing, racism. Because of this background, I care deeply about the interaction of stigma, systems, and stress in my client's lives. Clients have described me as nurturing and empowering. Clients say I provide tailored exercises that are instrumental in approaching personal challenges. As a Certified Advanced Grief Counseling specialist, digging into tough, complex emotions is my strength. My personal experience makes me a great fit for those with mood disorders or anxiety. I won't tell you to "stop worrying", "calm down" or "just get out of bed", cause I've been there. Let's process things together.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
I believe in the power of human connection. We are on this earth to love and lift each other up. In a world that's pushing isolation, productivity, and consumption, I believe connection & community are the antithesis. As a clinician and human, I value boundaries, slowing down, and staying present. In our work together, we will process tough feelings & circumstances as we find you peace and clarity. I believe my clients know what's best for them. We'll work from this lens.
