About My Clients
My ideal client is a young adult dealing with anxiety, depression, inner conflict, low self-esteem, and have a desire to improve their lives and well-being.
My Background and Approach
While working in California, Tennessee, England, and Germany, I have worked with teenagers, adults, military, addiction, anxiety, and depression. My services include ketamine-assisted psychotherapy where I provide preparation and integration session(s) pre and post to the experiential ketamine session(s). I have been researching psychedelic assisted therapy for more than eight years and want to contribute to the growing movement towards utilizing these modalities for healing and optimal health. The therapeutic modalities that I utilize are Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectic Behavioral Therapy (DBT), Internal Family Systems (IFS), Compassion-focused, Adlerian, and Psychodynamic.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
It takes courage to seek therapy and I am here to help you through the issues, concerns, and problems that you present. I provide a compassionate and nonjudgmental space that encourages you to discuss your deepest thoughts and struggles to promote optimal healing. I believe that our problematic behaviors in adulthood once served as a means of survival and a tactic to help us endure life at some point. Turning to those behaviors with compassion and curiosity verses shame and disdain can create a paradigm inner shift. I don't believe in pathologizing your behavior, and instead, accepting all parts of you and creating inner balance through self-exploration, self-love, and acceptance. From there, you are able to form an inner relationship with all parts of yourself with compassion, understanding, and appreciation. Revolutionizing your inner world will therefore revolutionize your outer world.
