About My Clients
I look forward to my clients entering this space in the way that they authentically need to. I encourage my clients to invest in themselves during their therapeutic journey and to lean into all of the many aspects of discomfort and joy that can be felt during the process. I encourage clients to be open to the experience so that they can receive their healing. We will together take a holistic approach into understanding who you are and what you need to be the version of you that you desire.
My Background and Approach
I have much background in artistic means of expressing such as dance, art, poetry and drama which I look forward to bringing into the therapeutic space as I feel that sometimes the nuance of our experienced can only be reached through these alternative means over talk therapy alone. I have much experience working with children, teens and young adults in mentor programs as well as in the arts sector. I take a person centered, acceptance commitment therapy (ACT) psychoanalytic approach bringing in some AEDP principles. I take the approach of helping my clients gain tools to express the agency and qualities that they are looking for with the minute that they already exist inside of them and need an environment to flourish in specifically tailored to them. I take a multicultural lens as well as considering any spiritual aspects that may be relevant to the client's life.
