My training includes, but not limited to a 5-day Intensive Trauma Retreat to identify trauma symptoms, behaviors and treatment options, Santa Barbara Rape Crisis Center 40 hour training and volunteered on their advocate hotline for one year. During my career, I have worked with minors in the foster care and probation system that suffer from neglect, abuse and sexual exploitation. also experience working with adults that struggle with drug and alcohol abuse and mental health issues

I am passionate about working with women and men that have experienced unwanted sexual touch, supporting them with repairing the deep pain and suffering that gets in the way of loving the life they live!
Codependency is characterized by a person belonging to a dysfunctional, one-sided relationship where one person relies on the other for meeting nearly all of their emotional and self-esteem needs. It also describes a relationship that enables another person to maintain their irresponsible, addictive, or underachieving behavior. I am passionate about guiding my clients on emotional healing, learning healthy boundaries, effective communication and self care practices.
Stress is a normal reaction the body has when changes occur. Stress is the body's reaction to any change that requires an adjustment or response. The body reacts to these changes with physical, mental, and emotional responses. Stress is a normal part of life. You can experience stress from your environment, your body, and your thoughts. Even positive life changes can cause stress. I draw principles from various orientations to guide my clients with managing their stress.
EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing) is a psychotherapy that enables people to heal from the symptoms and emotional distress that are the result of disturbing life experiences. EMDR provides opportunities to examine core beliefs as a result of disturbing life experiences, learn grounding techniques to manage emotional distress and install preferred positive core beliefs.
