About My Clients
Using a trauma-informed, body-centric approach, I can help you access tools already within yourself to live a more vibrant authentic life.
My Background and Approach
My approach is both gently compassionate and straightforward. In sessions, I hope we can share as much laughter as moments of insight, awareness, and depth. I offer EMDR, and also incorporate somatic interventions, parts work (inner child work), a systemic framework, attachment theory, and DBT strategies. I love equipping my clients with tools, all while noticing and honoring what organically comes to surface in our work together. I love working with queer/trans youth + adults and allies in their lives, neurodivergence, religious trauma, artists + creatives, and folks living with complex trauma. I hold a Master’s in Clinical Psychology from Antioch University Los Angeles with a specialization in LGBTQ+ Affirmative psychology. I identify as queer, gender fluid, and of white European/Mexican descent. I am conscientious of the identities I hold in relation to you in the room, and invite processing the dynamics at play together.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
I believe you’re the expert of your experience - no one knows your life better than you. Together, we can create a deepened awareness around what’s working, what’s not, and what strengths you already possess that need nurturing. I work to constantly consider and name how various systems at play (white supremacy, capitalism, colonialism) impact the life you live and the work we do. I take the role of earning your trust very seriously, and find it an honor to be part of your journey. Please feel free to reach out with any questions or to schedule a consultation call with me.
