My approach is both gently compassionate and straightforward. In sessions, I hope we can share as much laughter as moments of insight, awareness, and depth.
I offer EMDR, and also incorporate somatic interventions, parts work (inner child work), a systemic framework, attachment theory, and DBT strategies. I love equipping my clients with tools, all while noticing and honoring what organically comes to surface in our work together. I love working with queer/trans youth + adults and allies in their lives, neuroexpansive people, religious trauma, artists + creatives, and folks living with complex trauma.
I hold a Master’s in Clinical Psychology from Antioch University Los Angeles with a specialization in LGBTQ+ Affirmative psychology. I identify as queer, gender fluid, and of white European/Mexican descent. I am conscientious of the identities I hold in relation to you in the room, and invite processing the dynamics at play together.
