You expend all your energy worrying about others, the never-ending demands of your job, and striving to meet an unreachable standard. The tension that plagues your mind and body refuses to be ignored. Intuitively, you know something’s not right. But keeping this pace is draining everything out of you. It’s time for a change, but scared to let go of control. You want relief, but it’s hard to imagine what that means.
My Background and Approach
Using a holistic framework, we’ll use art therapy and mind-body techniques, like EMDR and Somatic Experiencing, to shift the way you feel about yourself and experience the world around you. Art therapy is a process oriented way to uncover parts of ourself that might not have been in our consciousness. Using this non-verbal form of self-expression, we are able to tap into a deeper understanding of our thoughts and feelings. Mind-body techniques - EMDR and Somatic Experiencing (SE) - allow us to resolve trauma, negative thought patterns, and emotions so that healing takes place inside and out.
