About My Clients
Hi, and welcome! I am passionate about helping my clients discover and appreciate their most authentic selves. I specialize in treating adult individuals struggling with eating disorders, recovering from abuse, exploring their identity, and adjusting to life transitions.
My Background and Approach
I earned my Bachelor of Arts in Criminology at University of South Florida in 2014, and my Master of Science in Mental Health Counseling from Nova Southeastern University in 2017. I bring a variety of experience treating eating disorders, suicidal ideation, self-harming behaviors, and trauma recovery in inpatient, partial hospitalization, outpatient, crisis, and community settings. My years of experience in various treatment settings have shaped my belief that trust is the crux of healing in therapy, and I bring this belief into my sessions to ensure that I form a safe, trustworthy, and caring therapeutic alliance with my clients. My approach to therapy is to work alongside you together to figure out what methods work best for you.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
Being a biracial therapist, my values are deeply stemmed in multiculturalism, diversity, and inclusivity. I am LGBTQIA+ affirming and apply an intersectional and holistic lens in session so that I can fully understand your unique identity, worldview, and symptoms. I am a firm believer of quality mental health care and accessibility of care.
