About My Clients
I have dedicated my career to working with women because women are so powerful in the world, and yet we have so many challenges in the world that prevent us from being our authentic selves. I have a passion to help every woman I work with tap into who she is as a person and to help her let go of shame and identities that don’t fit. I strive to help every woman feel comfortable in her own skin and discover her value in the world.
My Background and Approach
I empower my clients with the knowledge, tools, and courage to overcome life’s greatest challenges. I use an integrative approach to help my clients heal from traumatic wounds, depression, and anxiety. I have advanced training in mindfulness, meditation, EMDR, CBT for Insomnia, and Neuropsychology. As an expert in women’s health, I seek to uplift and empower women in all aspects of their life and have expertise in infertility, pregnancy, motherhood, stress, and personal development.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
As both a psychologist, I cannot be complacent in unexamined biases, false beliefs, or internalized oppressive -isms. Seeing people be silenced or shamed by oppressive systems fills me with anger at the systems that oppress and fuels me to action to do my part in challenging and disrupting these systems. Being silent, nice, or indifferent are completely unacceptable responses. I challenge myself daily to become more comfortable with hard conversations, cultivate curiosity and not judgment, exist in vulnerability not defensiveness, and do the hard thing when it is the right thing. My ongoing goal is to continue to become a safer human for all who are around me. Beyond this personal work, I utilize my privilege and resources to build a group practice and a company that combats injustice and is a safe space of healing and growth. Our mission of creating safety and doing the work of social justice is ongoing, evolving, and humbling.
