About My Clients

I particularly enjoy working with couples, partners, and friends in sexually diverse communities, LGBTQIA+ folks, and those seeking more pleasure and joy in their every day. There are many challenges I can support you through including sexuality & sexual expression, communication issues, shame & guilt, loneliness, relationship issues, end-of-life issues, grief & loss, and identity exploration.

My Background and Approach

I am passionate about alleviating the impacts of systemic and internalized racism, sexism, transphobia, and homophobia. My goal is to support you in imagining new possibilities for your life, deepening your relationships, and addressing both your individual experience and the society and culture in which you live. Much of my work is relational, meaning that our trust and connection is most important. I want to meet you where you are right now and support you in moving towards a more intimate relationship with each part of yourself.

My Personal Beliefs and Interests

As young as 5 years old, I worried about dying. I tried to tell the adults in my life about my fears and realized that nobody wanted to talk to me about it. This happened again at 13 when I realized I was bisexual. Nobody around me understood. I felt that there was something wrong with me. I felt like I was all alone. It wasn’t until later in life, after I came out, that I started to seek out environments where I could give voice to the parts of myself that never got to be expressed. I worked in a women’s sexual health clinic and an LGBTQIA+ suicide prevention center. Eventually, this work led me to Antioch University LA where I obtained a Masters in Clinical Psychology. Now it is my daily work to join my clients as they talk about the difficult things; the challenges, worries, and parts of themselves that have been rejected or ignored. When I’m not working, I might be doing a crossword puzzle, watching too many TikToks, or going on walks around my neighborhood with my dog Scoop.

I offer online counseling in the following states:
